China丨130 pesticide registrations to be approved: Surge in registrations of Chlorantraniliprole and Prothioconazole!

On September 16, 2022, ICAMA published a list of the seventh batch of pesticide products to be approved for registration in 2022.

According to the "Administrative License Law" and "Pesticide Management Regulations”, ICAMA will publicize the information of 130 pesticide products that have been approved for registration and 108 pesticide products whose registration has been changed. And the publicity period will be from Sept 16 to Sept 22, 2022.

Among the 130 pesticide products that will be approved for registration,there are 48 export registration-only products with 22 products from Rainbow.

In addition to the export registration-only products, there are about 82 products registrations. Among the 82 products, 25 herbicides, 19 insecticides, 3 sanitary insecticides, 1 insecticide & fungicide, 2 acaricides, 1 nemacide, 20 fungicides and 10 plant growth regulators are to be approved for registration. The active ingredients involved include:

Herbicides : glufosinate-p, glyphosate, metamitron, s-metolachlor, flumioxazin, metamifop, etc.

Insecticides: Chlorantraniliprole, abamectin, deltamethrin, indoxacarb, methoxyfenozide, metaflumizone, clothianidin, flonicamid, etc.

Fungicides: prothioconazole, fluopimomide, pyraclostrobin, tebuconazole, trifloxystrobin, etc.

Plant growth regulators: 28-homobrassinolide, mepiquat chloride
14-hydroxylated brassinosteroid, gibberellinic acid, etc.

Among the 82 products, 15 are intended to be approved for technical registrations: 7 prothioconazole TC , with AI content 95%-98%; 3 chlorantraniliprole TC, 95%-98%; and 1  28-homobrassinolide 95% TC，1 tebuthiuron 97% TC, 1 tebuconazole 98% TC, 1 diafenthiuron 96% TC and 1 glufosinate-ammonium 50% TK.
