Some Italian cosmetics companies urgently switch to disinfection products

The Davines Group has started producing and distributing free hand sanitizers for the new crown epidemic. The Davines Group is headquartered in Parma and has two brands, Davines and Comfort Zone, specializing in the production of hair and skin care products. Since March 3, the company has produced more than 100,000 bottles of disinfection gels and donated to business partners, customers and partners, the latter being mainly local nursing homes in Parma, Red Cross, Yellow Cross, social assistance agencies and Immigration shelters and more. According to the company's notice, there are 50,000 bottles of hand sanitizer currently being delivered, and another 60,000 bottles will be issued in the next ten days.

Not only that, but several Italian cosmetics companies from the Crema alla Brianza area also decided to use the production line to supply disinfection gels during the emergency outbreak. The product is currently in short supply and is one of the necessities for preventing infection. As the largest subcontractor of beauty products in Italy, Intercos Group has two factories, Cosmint and Tatra, located in Olgiate Comasco, Italy and Poland. Both plants produce hand sanitizers and increased production in the event of an emergency. However, due to a lack of necessary alcohol raw materials, the plant has not yet reached its maximum capacity.
