The 2022 edition of the list of the world's top 2 percent scientists has been announced: Dr. Liu Yongjun, president of Cinda Bio, is on it!
More than 8,300 Chinese scientists have been included in the 2022 edition of the World's Top Scientists list published by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis and his team at Stanford University. In the Chinese life sciences sector, Zhu Jianxing, Liu Yongjun and Shi Yigong are among the top three. Dr. Liu Yongjun, currently president of Cinda Biopharmaceutical Group, is also the country's number one scientist in the life sciences pharmaceutical sector.
According to the comprehensive statistics of scientific research output, Google Scholar Metrics journal score, H-index, citation of achievements, and ranking position of authors in achievements, the "Global Top Scientists Ranking" shows the output and academic influence of scientists (citation status). This is the fourth edition of the ranking, which has been published every year since 2018 .
In the field of life sciences (Biology + Biomedical Research + Clinical Medicine + Agriculture + Public health), more than 800 scientists from China entered the list, and Dr. Liu Yongjun ranked second on the list. Other well-known Chinese scientists on the list include Zhu Jianxin, Shi Yigong, Dong Chen, Wang Xiaodong and Cao Xuetao.
Dr. Liu Yongjun has been deeply involved in the biomedical industry for more than 30 years. He is a world-renowned scientist in the fields of immunology, oncology and translational medicine. He has extensive experience at internationally renowned research institutions and in the R&D departments of the world's top pharmaceutical companies.
