China's original 'non-invasive' surgical equipment is exported to Colombia for clinical treatment and research in the country

Wang Zhibiao said that the "non-invasive" technology represented by focused ultrasound ablation surgery promotes the humanization of clinical treatment and shows a new prospect for modern humanistic medicine.
The device was introduced at the Santiago Tumor Clinical Research Center in Bogota, Colombia, a large oncology-only hospital that integrates oncology prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, scientific research and teaching. The head of the center, Luis Flores, attended the launch by video link. He mentioned that the global installed capacity and clinical treatment data of China's original "Sea Knife" focused ultrasound tumor treatment system have continuously verified that this is a reliable treatment method, and they decided to introduce the equipment after comprehensive consideration.
"In the field of oncology, we are always looking for better and newer technologies to provide cancer patients with a way to reduce disease suffering and improve survival and survival." Luis Flores said the "Haifudao" focused ultrasound tumor treatment system, introduced from Chongqing, China, could provide a safe and effective new treatment option for local patients with benign and malignant tumors.
Luis Flores said that as a research center, they hope that after the introduction of the "sea knife" device, they can do some additional clinical research, so that the technology can achieve greater results in clinical treatment. "We hope that one day focused ultrasound ablation will be incorporated into the clinical guidelines for cancer treatment in Colombia."
Since the first device was exported to Oxford University in 2002, the device has been exported to 29 countries and regions and has gained market access to more than 40 countries and regions. It has been put into clinical use in more than 300 medical institutions around the world..Therefore, the "sea Knife" has been used to treat more than 210,000 cases of benign and malignant tumors worldwide
