The Ecological Environment Bureau of Jieyang City announced the approval notice of environmental impact assessment documents for construction projects from October 8 to October 14, 2022, including the Juzhengyuan (Jieyang) New material base project.

 

The total investment in the project is reported to be 15.6 billion yuan. The construction unit is Jieyang Juzhengyuan Technology Co., Ltd..The construction site is located in the Nanhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone in Jieyang City and covers an area of 83.86 hectares.The main installations of this project are 600,000-ton/year propane dehydrogenation device, 300,000-ton/year polypropylene device, 160,000-ton/year acrylic acid and 200,000-ton/year butyl acrylate device, 300,000-ton/year butyl octanol device, 150,000-ton/year EVA device, 600,000-ton/year acetate and ester device, 300,000-ton/year vinyl acetate device, 76 The cryogenic separation device of ten thousand tons/year syngas (including 0.5 thousand tons/year PSA hydrogen extraction device) and two 175t/h exhaust gas recovery devices, etc. The PDH device uses the Catofin process from Loomis. The Polypropylene device adopts SPGⅡ polymerization process. The EVA setup was constructed using the Lyondell Basell tubular process.
