Esophagitis
Esophagitis refers to inflammation caused by edema and congestion of the superficial or deep tissues of the esophageal mucosa due to abnormal stimulation. These stimuli include gastric acid, bile vomited from the duodenum, strong liquor, chili peppers, too hot soup, too strong tea, etc. It can be divided into primary and secondary esophagitis.
