Gastric leiomyoma
Leiomyoma of stomach is a benign tumor originating from smooth muscle tissue and is the most common interstitial benign gastric tumor. Since leiomyomas with a diameter of less than 2 cm have no clinical symptoms, their incidence is actually higher. It has been reported that the autopsy detection rate in people over 50 years old is as high as 50%.
