Poisonous fish stings
There are many poisonous fish in the ocean that can sting people. In my country, the main poisonous fish that can sting people are the ghost fish and the red scorpion. When people come into contact with poisonous fish in seawater, they can be stung by them. The venom is injected into the human body through the spines, causing the disease. The disease is more common in summer and autumn, mainly in young men. After being stung, the wound will bleed immediately and the pain will be unbearable, which may last for several hours, and then widespread redness and swelling will appear around the wound, like cellulitis. For treatment, the affected area should be elevated and 1 ml (0.03-0.06 g) of emetine hydrochloride injection should be injected subcutaneously at the proximal end of the wound. The pain can be relieved after a few minutes.
