Peripheral chondrosarcoma
Peripheral chondrosarcoma is a chondrosarcoma that originates outside the bone and implants on the bone. The incidence is lower than that of central chondrosarcoma. It is more common in men, with a male-to-female ratio of 2:1. It occurs in adults, usually after the age of 20, and does not occur before puberty.
