Osteodystrophy in children
Fibrous osteodystrophy syndrome is McCune-Albright syndrome, also known as multiple osteofibrosis (osteitis fibrosa disseminate), osteodystrophy (osteodystrophia fibrosa), multiple fibrous osteodysplasia, multiple fibrous dysplasia, multiple fibrous dysplasia, Albright syndrome, Albright-McCune-Stenberg syndrome, brown spot syndrome, fibrous dysplasia-pigmentation syndrome. Its main clinical features are: ① multiple fibrous dysplasia, fibrous osteitis, pathological fractures, etc.; ② skin pigmentation, yellow-brown or dark-brown pigmented spots with irregular edges, and the pigmentation is often distributed in the corresponding skin area of the diseased bone or at the level of the nerve segment; ③ various endocrine abnormalities, often precocious puberty, hyperthyroidism, gigantism or acromegaly, hyperparathyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, vitamin D-resistant rickets, etc.
