Asthmatic amyotrophic syndrome in children
Asthmatic amyotrophy syndrome is also known as asthmatic amyotrophy, Hopkins syndrome, and acute asthma complicated by poliomyelitis-like damage. The main feature of this syndrome is the occurrence of flaccid paralysis of one limb similar to poliomyelitis in the anterior horn of the spinal cord about one week after an asthma attack in children.
