Abnormal soft birth canal dystocia
Abnormal soft birth canal dystocia refers to dystocia caused by abnormal soft birth canal. This type of dystocia is much less common than abnormal bone birth canal dystocia, so it is easy to be ignored and cause missed diagnosis. The soft birth canal includes the lower uterine segment, cervix, vagina and vulva. Lesions in the soft birth canal itself can cause dystocia. Lesions in other parts of the reproductive tract and its surroundings may also affect the soft birth canal and make delivery difficult, but the former is more common. Therefore, vaginal examination should be performed routinely in early pregnancy to understand whether there are any abnormalities in the reproductive tract and pelvic cavity.
