Urethral injury
Urethral injury is a common injury of the urinary system, which mostly occurs in young and middle-aged men, especially the more fixed bulbar or membranous part. The male urethra is divided into the anterior urethra (bulbar urethra and pendular urethra) and the posterior urethra (prostatic urethra and membranous urethra) by the urogenital diaphragm. If urethral injury is not properly treated, it can lead to infection, stenosis, obstruction and sexual dysfunction.
