Concussion in children
Concussion refers to a transient, reversible loss of brain function that occurs immediately after an injury and is not accompanied by noticeable damage to the brain tissue structure. Although the duration of loss of consciousness has been defined as "short-term", the exact length of time is still controversial. Some scholars believe that the loss of consciousness should last for a few seconds or minutes, while most believe that the loss of consciousness is within half an hour.
