Frohlich syndrome
Obesity-related reproductive incompetence syndrome is also known as Frohlich syndrome, Babinski-Frohlich syndrome, Leaunois-Cleret syndrome, obesity-related reproductive incompetence malnutrition, and cerebral obesity. This syndrome is more common in infants and school-age boys, and is characterized by obesity, dysplastic sex organs, and diabetes insipidus. Most cases are caused by multiple causes, such as tumors in the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, or adjacent parts, encephalitis, and brain trauma. Hypothalamic lesions are an important cause of this syndrome.
