Vulvar nevus
Vulvar nevi are divided into black nevi and blue nevi. Nevi can be light brown, dark brown or black, with a diameter of 1mm to 2cm. Some are in the skin, some are raised on the skin, and some are nipple-like or warty and protrude from the skin, with or without hair. The importance of vulvar nevi lies in the possibility of developing into malignant melanoma, which has a high mortality rate. 40% of malignant melanomas originate from black nevi. Blue nevi often occur on the face and forearms, and are most common on the back of the hand, and are rare on the outer side of the body.
