Coxsackie virus rash
Coxsackie virus eruption is caused by Coxsackie virus (CV). It was named after the poliomyelitis outbreak in Coxsackie Village, USA in 1948. Coxsackie virus is divided into two groups, A and B. Group A mainly causes skeletal muscle damage in newborn mice; Group B can cause damage to the central nervous system and internal organs.
