Hyperparathyroid cardiomyopathy
Hyperparathyroidism (HPT) is a group of syndromes characterized by high blood calcium and low blood phosphorus caused by excessive secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH). The main manifestations include extensive bone decalcification, multiple stones in the urinary system, impaired renal tubular function, decreased neuromuscular irritability, and other symptoms. There are also manifestations of cardiovascular system involvement, including hypertension, arrhythmia, cardiac calcification and myocardial ischemia.
