Laryngotracheoesophageal cleft
Laryngo tracheo-esophageal cleft (LTEC) is a rare congenital anomaly caused by the failure of the two arytenoid cartilage anlage to fuse and the failure of the esophageal tracheal septum to grow caudally. The incidence of other malformations is about 50%, the most common of which are esophageal atresia and esophageal tracheal fistula.
