Spinal cord firearm injury
Spinal cord firearm injury is an open injury to the spinal cord caused by bullets or shrapnel. The injury is often complicated by the combined damage to important organs in the neck, chest and abdomen. In addition, the injury to the spinal cord itself is mostly complete, and the prognosis is poor.
