IgA nephropathy
IgA nephropathy is a group of glomerular diseases characterized by mesangial proliferation and diffuse IgA deposition in the mesangial area, which was first described by French scholars Berger and Hinglais in 1968. Its clinical manifestations are varied, with hematuria being the most common, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of proteinuria, hypertension and renal impairment.
