Acute retinal pigment epitheliitis
Acute retinal pigment epithelitis is a disease characterized by acute inflammation of the retinal pigment epithelium, typically manifested as dark gray clusters of small dot-like lesions in the macular area, surrounded by a yellow-white halo, usually accompanied by decreased vision. These lesions usually disappear on their own within weeks to months, and vision can return to normal levels.
