Promote lipid metabolism, increase energy production, improve energy supply to tissues and organs, participate in drug detoxification, oxidation of medium-chain fatty acids, oxidation of fatty acid peroxidase, buffer the ratio of bound coenzyme A to free coenzyme A, generate energy from ketones, pyruvate, and amino acids (including branched-chain amino acids), remove excessive coenzyme A toxicity, and regulate blood ammonia concentration.

This product is a non-addictive analgesic with strong analgesic effect. It also has local anesthesia, cooling, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory and detumescent effects. Compared with pethidine, it has comparable analgesic effect, slightly slower onset, and longer duration; the analgesic effect is 7 times that of the antipyretic analgesic aminopyrine. It is non-addictive, has no teratogenic effect in animal tests, and will not cause cumulative poisoning.

Inhibits the secretion of growth hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone, insulin and glucagon, and inhibits the secretion of gastric acid; affects the absorption, motility, visceral blood flow and nutritional function of the gastrointestinal tract; inhibits the secretion of gastrin, gastric acid and pepsin, and treats upper gastrointestinal bleeding; reduces the blood flow to the internal organs without causing significant changes in systemic arterial blood pressure, and is used to treat esophageal varicose bleeding; reduces the endocrine and exocrine secretions of the pancreas.

This product promotes the maturation of T lymphocytes by stimulating peripheral blood lymphocyte mitogens, increases the levels of lymphokines such as interferon alpha, interferon gamma, interleukin 2, and interleukin 3 secreted by T cells after antigen or mitogen activation, and increases the levels of lymphokine receptors on the surface of T cells. This product can also enhance allogeneic and autologous human mixed lymphocyte reactions by activating CD4 cells. This product may increase the aggregation of pre-NK cells, and interferon can enhance their cytotoxicity. In vivo experiments have shown that this product can increase the expression level of interleukin 2 receptors in mouse lymphocytes after activation by concanavalin A, and at the same time increase the secretion level of interleukin 2.

The mechanism of action of this product in treating chronic hepatitis B and enhancing the responsiveness of the immune system has not been fully elucidated.
