Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: 1 tablet at a time, 4 times a day, after meals, or as directed by a physician.
Adverse Reactions
1. The lethal dose of caffeine for adults is generally 10 grams, with a blood concentration of 60-160μg/ml, tubular or red blood cells appearing in the urine, and there have been reports of death from hepatic coma. 2. Common symptoms include stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, headache and insomnia; long-term habitual excessive consumption may cause headache, tension, excitement and anxiety.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with gastric ulcer.

Drug Interactions
1. Isoniazid and meprobamate can enhance the efficacy of caffeine, increasing its concentration in brain tissue by 55%, while its concentration in liver and kidney decreases. 2. Oral contraceptives may slow down the clearance rate of caffeine.
