Tulobuterol Hydrochloride Tablets

It is a selective β2 receptor agonist, which has a strong and lasting dilation effect on bronchial smooth muscle, and a weak excitatory effect on the heart. In vitro animal experiments have shown that this product relaxes bronchial smooth muscle 2-10 times that of cloranthone, and its excitatory effect on the heart is 1/1000 of that of isoproterenol, and the duration of the effect is more than 10 times longer than that of isoproterenol. Clinical trials have shown that in addition to its obvious antiasthmatic effect, this product also has a certain antitussive and antiasthmatic effect, and its excitatory effect on the heart is very slight. Generally, it takes effect 5-10 minutes after oral administration, and the effect can last for 4-6 hours.

Its hydrochloride is commonly used, which is a white or off-white crystalline powder, odorless, bitter. Melting point 161-163℃. Soluble in water, ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, insoluble in ether.

Oral. Adults: 1-2 tablets at a time, twice a day. Children: 0.02 mg/kg per time, twice a day or as directed by a doctor. Swallow or hold in the mouth.

Some patients experience reactions such as hand tremors, tachycardia, dizziness, nausea, and stomach discomfort, which usually disappear on their own after stopping the medication.

1. People who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. Infants under 23 months old are prohibited from using it.

1 When used in combination with tetracycline antibiotics, it can increase the latter's antibacterial efficacy. 2 Avoid using with adrenaline, isoproterenol, and catecholamines to prevent arrhythmias and tachycardia. 3 When ethanol or other central nervous system depressants, especially anesthetics, barbiturates, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or tricyclic antidepressants are used with this product, they can increase the effects of promethazine or (and) these drugs, and the dosage needs to be adjusted separately. 4 When anticholinergic drugs, especially atropine drugs, are used with promethazine, the anti-muscarinic effect is enhanced. 5 When brombenzylamine, isoquine, or guanethidine are used with promethazine, the antihypertensive effect is enhanced. When adrenaline is used with promethazine, the alpha-adrenergic effect of adrenaline can be blocked, making the beta-adrenergic effect dominant. 6 When ototoxic drugs such as cisplatin, paromomycin and other aminoglycoside antibiotics, salicylic acid preparations and vancomycin are used together with promethazine, their ototoxic symptoms can be masked.
