It is suitable for the following infections caused by bacteria sensitive to this product among Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus (indole-positive and -negative), Bacteroides, Peptococcus and Peptostreptococcus: sepsis; bronchitis, bronchiectasis infection, pneumonia, secondary infection of chronic respiratory diseases, pulmonary suppuration (lung abscess), empyema; cholangitis, cholecystitis; peritonitis; pyelonephritis, cystitis; Bartholinitis, intrauterine infection, adnexitis, parametritis; cellulitis around the jaws, jawitis.

Usually for adults, 1-2 grams (titer) per day, divided into 2 intravenous injections or intravenous drips. Usually for children, 25-100 mg (titer)/kg body weight per day, divided into 2-4 intravenous injections or intravenous drips. In addition, for refractory or severe infections, the daily dose can be increased to 4 grams (titer) for adults and 150 mg (titer)/kg body weight for children according to symptoms, and administered in 2-4 doses. For intravenous injection, 1 gram (titer) of this agent is dissolved in 10 ml of sterile water for injection, normal saline or glucose injection, and injected slowly. In addition, this agent can be added to the rehydration for intravenous drip. When dissolving the intravenous drip agent (100 ml bottle), do not use distilled water for injection (because the solution is not isotonic).

Shock (less than 0.01%): Shock may occur (initial symptoms: discomfort, abnormal sensation in the mouth, wheezing, dizziness, urge to defecate, tinnitus, sweating, etc.), so it is necessary to observe carefully. Interstitial pneumonia (unknown incidence) and PIE syndrome (unknown incidence): Interstitial pneumonia and PIE syndrome with fever, cough, dyspnea, abnormal chest X-ray, eosinophilia, etc., if such symptoms occur, the drug should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment such as adrenocortical hormone preparations should be given. .6. Other side effects Mucocutaneous and ocular syndrome: Mucocutaneous and ocular syndrome (Stenens-Johnson syndrome) has been reported with other cephem antibiotics.
