Function and Efficacy
This product was originally an antiviral drug. Its anti-Parkinson's disease mechanism is mainly to promote the synthesis and release of striatal dopamine, reduce the reuptake of dopamine by nerve cells, and have an anti-acetylcholine effect, thereby improving the symptoms of Parkinson's patients.

Indication
It is used for Parkinson's disease, Parkinson's syndrome, drug-induced extrapyramidal disorders, Parkinson's syndrome after carbon monoxide poisoning, and Parkinson's syndrome in the elderly with cerebral arteriosclerosis. It is also used to prevent and treat respiratory infections caused by influenza A virus.
Usage and Dosage
For Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's syndrome, take 100 mg orally, 1 to 2 times a day, and the maximum daily dose is 400 mg. For antiviral treatment, adults take 200 mg once a day or 100 mg once every 12 hours; children aged 1 to 9 years old take 1.5 to 3 mg/kg according to body weight once every 8 hours, or 2.2 to 4.4 mg/kg once every 12 hours; children aged 9 to 12 years old take 100 mg orally every 12 hours; children aged 12 years and above take the same dosage as adults.
Adverse Reactions
Dizziness, insomnia and nervousness, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, dry mouth, constipation. Occasionally, depression, anxiety, hallucinations, mental confusion, ataxia, headache, and rarely, convulsions. Rarely, leukopenia and neutropenia.
Precautions
People who are allergic to this product.
Drug Interactions
1. This product combined with ethanol can enhance the central inhibition effect. 2. This product combined with other anti-Parkinson's disease drugs, anticholinergic drugs, antihistamines, phenothiazines or tricyclic antidepressants can enhance the anticholinergic reaction. 3. This product combined with central nervous system stimulants can enhance the excitement of the central nervous system, and in severe cases can cause convulsions or arrhythmias.
