Ciclopirox is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug that has a virulence-killing effect on pathogenic fungi that can cause nail fungus infections.

Indication
It can be used for tinea manuum, tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, onychomycosis and tinea versicolor. It can also be used for skin and vulvovaginal candidiasis and onychomycosis.
Usage and Dosage
For external use, apply evenly to the affected area, twice a day, and rub gently for a few minutes after application. A course of treatment is 2 weeks. For the treatment of onychomycosis, first soften the nail with warm water and thin it, then apply the medicine and bandage it. Apply the medicine once every 2 days in the first month, twice a week in the second month, and once a week in the third month until recovery.
Adverse Reactions
Local redness and itching may occur occasionally, which usually disappear on their own after stopping the medication. If symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with other retinoic acid drugs is not recommended.
