Function and Efficacy
After passing through the blood-brain-spinal fluid barrier, acetylglutamine decomposes into glutamate and g-aminobutyric acid (GABA): glutamate is involved in information transmission in the central nervous system; g-aminobutyric acid can antagonize the excitotoxic effects of glutamate, improve nerve cell metabolism, maintain nerve stress resistance, reduce the effects of blood ammonia, and improve brain function.

Indication
It is used for coma caused by brain trauma, coma caused by neurosurgery, hepatic coma, hemiplegia and high paraplegia, sequelae of polio, neuralgia and low back pain, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Intramuscular injection: 100-600 mg per day; children's dose should be reduced. Intravenous drip: Dissolve in 250 ml of 5% or 10% glucose injection and drip slowly.
