Carbocisteine
Indication
It is used for patients with thick sputum and difficulty in expectoration caused by diseases such as chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchial asthma. It can also be used for non-suppurative otitis media in children, and has a certain effect in preventing deafness.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with active peptic ulcer and children under 2 years old.
