Licorice fluid extract is a protective antitussive and expectorant; opium powder has a strong antitussive effect; camphor and star anise oil can stimulate the bronchial mucosa, reflexively increase glandular secretion, dilute sputum, and make it easier to cough up; sodium benzoate is a preservative. Each tablet contains 112.5 mg of licorice extract powder (medium powder), 4 mg of opium powder, 2 mg of camphor, 2 mg of star anise oil, and 2 mg of sodium benzoate (medium powder). The auxiliary ingredients are sucrose, magnesium oxide, and talc.
