Compound Platycodon Ephedrine Syrup Ⅱ
Function and Efficacy
Ephedrine hydrochloride is an adrenergic drug that has the effect of dilating bronchial smooth muscle and prolonging the incubation period of asthma. It can directly stimulate adrenaline receptors, and can also indirectly stimulate adrenaline receptors by prompting adrenergic nerve endings to release norepinephrine, and has an stimulating effect on both receptors and receptors. It can dilate bronchi and contract local blood vessels to eliminate congestion and swelling of the nasopharyngeal mucosa, relieve nasal congestion symptoms, and has a long duration of action; it strengthens myocardial contractility, increases cardiac contraction volume, and makes venous return to the heart sufficient; it has a stronger central nervous system excitation effect than adrenaline. Platycodon grandiflorum and ammonium chloride are both irritating expectorants. Through chemical stimulation of the mucosa, they reflexively increase the amount of sputum and make it easier to discharge sputum. Therefore, it is conducive to the removal of sticky sputum that is not easy to cough up.
