Ganmaoqing Capsules

Morphoguanidine hydrochloride is a nasal decongestant that can eliminate nasal and pharyngeal mucosal congestion and relieve nasal congestion symptoms; chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that can eliminate or relieve nasal congestion, runny nose and sneezing. Southern isatis root, isatis indigotica leaf and golden calendula have the effect of clearing heat and detoxifying.

Andrographis paniculata leaves, Isatis indigotica leaves, Isatis indigotica root, Calendula officinalis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Sesamum indica, Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Guanidine Hydrochloride, etc.

This product is a capsule, the contents are gray-green to gray-brown powder; it tastes bitter.

Oral administration: 8 pills each time, 3 times a day.

⑴ Generally, the dosage is low and causes adverse reactions, has little irritation to the gastrointestinal tract, and will not cause gastrointestinal bleeding. In a few cases, agranulocytosis, anemia, allergic dermatitis (rash, skin itching, etc.), hepatitis or thrombocytopenia, etc. may occur. ⑵ Long-term and large-scale use of the drug, especially in patients with impaired renal function, may cause renal colic or acute renal failure (oliguria, uremia) or chronic renal failure (analgesic nephropathy). ⑶ There are drowsiness, fatigue, dry mouth, dry throat, and sore throat. Rarely, there are skin bruises and bleeding tendency, chest tightness, and palpitations. ⑷ A few patients have drug rash. ⑶ Some patients have symptoms of central excitement such as irritability and insomnia, which may even induce epilepsy. ⑸ It is forbidden for newborns and premature infants, patients with epilepsy, and those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
