Appearance
White film-coated tablets.
Indication
It is used for partial seizures and generalized seizures. It can also be used for infantile spasms.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 1-2 times per day. The initial dose is 100 mg (1 tablet) per day, which can be increased to 200 mg (2 tablets) per day after two weeks, and then increased to 300 mg (3 tablets) or even 400 mg (4 tablets) per day after two weeks. Each dose must be continued for at least two weeks to reach a steady state.
Adverse Reactions
Common symptoms include drowsiness, anorexia, dizziness, headache, nausea, and anxiety or irritability.
