Chlorhexidine benzocaine lozenges

This product is a cationic surfactant preservative with a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect. Its mechanism of action is to change the permeability of bacterial cell membranes, but it is ineffective against spores, viruses and acid-resistant bacteria. Benzocaine is a local anesthetic and has analgesic effects.

Each tablet of this product contains 5 mg of chlorhexidine hydrochloride and 0.5 mg of benzocaine.

This product is white tablets.

Used for oral ulcers, tonsillitis, gingivitis, and pharyngitis.

Take orally, 1 tablet at a time, 4 to 5 times a day.

1. Occasionally allergic reactions or superficial desquamation of the oral mucosa may occur. 2. Long-term use may cause staining of the oral mucosa and teeth, dark tongue coating, taste changes, and a burning sensation in the pharynx, which may recover after discontinuation of the drug. 3.
