Function and Efficacy
This product is a quinolone antibacterial drug, which has strong antibacterial effect on Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphi, Shigella, Enterobacter cloacae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Citrobacter, Serratia marcescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Neisseria meningitidis, Haemophilus influenzae, Moracata, Legionella pneumophila, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. It also has moderate antibacterial effect on Gram-positive cocci such as Staphylococcus and hemolytic Streptococcus. The mechanism of action of this product is to inhibit the bacterial DNA gyrase and thus kill bacteria.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of the product is fleroxacin, whose chemical name is 6,8-difluoro-1-(2-fluoroethyl) 1,4-dihydro-7-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid.

Indication
It can be used for respiratory system infections such as acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia caused by bacteria sensitive to this product; urogenital system infections such as cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, epididymitis, gonorrhea Neisseria urethritis; digestive system infections such as typhoid Salmonella infection and bacterial dysentery; skin and soft tissue infections, bone infections, abdominal infections and pelvic infections, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 0.2-0.4 g per day, divided into 1-2 doses. The general course of treatment is 7-14 days.
Adverse Reactions
Adverse drug reactions occur in a small number of patients and may include: 1. Gastrointestinal reactions: upper abdominal discomfort, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, etc. 2. Nervous system reactions: dizziness, headache, excitement, insomnia, etc., which can be treated with symptomatic drugs and generally do not need to be discontinued. 3. Occasionally, elevated transaminases are seen.
Precautions
1. Patients who are allergic to this product or quinolone drugs are prohibited from using this product. 2. Pregnant women, lactating women and patients under 18 years old are prohibited from using this product.
Drug Interactions
1. The aluminum and magnesium contained in didanosine (DDI) preparations can chelate with fluoroquinolones and should not be used together. 2. Urine alkalinizers can reduce the solubility of this product in urine, leading to crystalluria and nephrotoxicity. 3. Probenecid can delay the excretion of this product, increase the blood concentration of this product and produce toxicity. 4. Antacids containing aluminum or magnesium can reduce the oral absorption of this product. It is recommended to avoid taking them together. If it cannot be avoided, it is recommended to take it 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking this product.
