Function and Efficacy
This product is a quinolone antibacterial drug. It has high antibacterial activity against Enterobacteriaceae such as Escherichia coli, Shigella, Klebsiella, Proteus, Enterobacter, etc.; Haemophilus influenzae and Neisseria gonorrhoeae are also highly sensitive to this product; it also has certain antibacterial effects on Pseudomonas such as Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus, Pneumococcus, and hemolytic Streptococcus. This product acts on the A subunit of DNA helicase in bacterial cells, inhibiting the synthesis and replication of DNA and exerting a bactericidal effect.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is lomefloxacin hydrochloride. Its chemical name is (plusmn;) 1-ethyl-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-7-(3-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid hydrochloride.

Appearance
This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid.
Indication
Suitable for otitis media, otitis externa and tympanitis caused by sensitive bacteria.
Usage and Dosage
Adults: 6 to 10 drops at a time, twice a day, and then bathe for about 10 minutes. Increase or decrease the number of ear drops according to symptoms. For children, reduce the number of drops.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, middle ear pain and itching may occur.
