Miconazole nitrate cream

This product is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of fungal cell membranes and affect their metabolic processes. It has antibacterial effects on dermatophytes, Candida, etc., and also has certain therapeutic effects on certain Gram-positive cocci.

This product contains 0.02 grams of miconazole nitrate per gram. The excipients are: glyceryl monostearate, stearic acid, triethanolamine, octadecyl alcohol, glycerin, ethylparaben, white vaseline, liquid paraffin, and purified water.

This product is a white or off-white cream

It is used for tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manuum, tinea pedis, tinea versicolor, as well as fungal paronychia and candidiasis vulvovaginitis. It is also effective for otitis externa and bacterial skin infections.

For external use, apply to the cleansed affected area once in the morning and evening; for tinea versicolor, apply once a day. Continue using the medication for 7 days after the symptoms disappear to prevent recurrence.

Allergies, blisters, burning, redness, itching or other skin irritation symptoms may occur occasionally.

Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Animal tests have shown that miconazole is toxic to the fetus, so pregnant women are prohibited from using this product; it is not clear whether this product will be secreted into breast milk, so it is not recommended for lactating women.
