Function and Efficacy
This drug has strong antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Peptostreptococcus, Gonorrhea, Branhamella catarrhalis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus (Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Providencia rettgeri, Providencia anomala), Citrobacter, Enterobacter, and Haemophilus influenzae.

Appearance
This product is a film-coated tablet. After removing the coating, it appears white or slightly yellow.
Indication
Respiratory tract infections, urinary and reproductive system infections, skin and soft tissue infections, otitis media, sinusitis, and mastitis.
Usage and Dosage
Adults take 100 mg orally twice a day after meals. The dosage should be increased or decreased according to age and symptoms. In severe cases or ineffective cases, it can be increased to 200 mg/time, twice a day, after meals.
Adverse Reactions
1. Shock: Shock symptoms may occur occasionally, so please pay attention to observation. If discomfort, abnormal sensation in the mouth, wheezing, dizziness, urge to defecate, tinnitus, or sweating occur, the drug should be discontinued. 2. Allergies: If allergic symptoms such as rash, urticaria, erythema, itching, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and joint pain occur, the drug should be discontinued and appropriate treatment should be taken. 3. Blood: Eosinophilia, thrombocytopenia, and occasionally granulocytopenia may occur. In addition, other cephalosporin antibiotics have been reported to cause hemolytic anemia. 4. Liver: SGOT, SGPT, alkaline phosphatase, and LDH may increase. 5. Kidney: BUN and blood creatinine may increase occasionally. In addition, other cephalosporin antibiotics may occasionally cause severe renal damage such as acute renal failure. Regular examinations and observations should be conducted. If abnormalities occur, the drug should be discontinued and appropriate treatment should be taken. 6. Digestive tract: Severe enteritis with bloody stools, such as pseudomembranous colitis, may occur occasionally. If abdominal pain or frequent diarrhea occurs, the drug should be discontinued immediately and appropriate measures should be taken. In addition, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, soft stools, stomach pain, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and stomach discomfort may occur occasionally. 7. Respiratory tract: When using other cephalosporin antibiotics, interstitial pneumonia and PIE syndrome may occur occasionally, accompanied by fever, cough, dyspnea, abnormal chest X-ray, and eosinophilia. If such symptoms occur, the drug should be discontinued and treated with adrenal hormones. 8. Occasionally, stomatitis and candidiasis may occur. 9. Vitamin deficiency: Symptoms of vitamin K deficiency (such as hypoprothrombinemia and bleeding tendency) and vitamin B deficiency (such as glossitis, stomatitis, loss of appetite, and neuritis) may occur occasionally. 10. Others: Dizziness, headache, and edema may occur occasionally.
Precautions
Patients with a history of allergy to this product or cephem antibiotics are contraindicated.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: The safety of pediatric use has not yet been established (little experience in use). Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: There is currently no sufficient and rigorous research data for pregnant women. Since animal experiments cannot fully predict human conditions, pregnant women should only use this product when it is really necessary. There is no experience of using this product during delivery, so it should only be used when it is really necessary. This product can be secreted in human milk. Since this product has potential serious reactions to breastfeeding infants, the pros and cons to the mother should be weighed before deciding whether to interrupt breastfeeding or stop the drug. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients should pay attention to the following content and dosage and dosing intervals, observe the patient's condition, and administer the drug with caution. 1. Elderly people often have reduced physiological functions and are prone to adverse reactions. 2. Elderly people sometimes have a tendency to bleed due to vitamin K deficiency.
Drug Interactions
When used in combination with antacids (such as aluminum hydroxide) or H2 receptor antagonists (such as ranitidine), the plasma concentration and drug absorption of CPDX can be reduced after taking CPDX-PR because gastric acid is neutralized.
