Function and Efficacy
Motherwort: activating blood circulation and regulating menstruation, removing blood stasis and relieving pain, promoting diuresis and reducing swelling. Ginseng and Rehmannia: tonifying qi and nourishing blood, tonifying qi and strengthening spleen, promoting body fluid and quenching thirst. Polygonum multiflorum and Angelica sinensis: nourishing liver and kidney, tonifying essence and blood, detoxifying and relieving constipation. Astragalus: tonifying qi and raising yang, tonifying qi and promoting diuresis, tonifying the body's defense and strengthening the exterior. Cyperus and Atractylodes macrocephala: soothing the liver and regulating qi, regulating menstruation and relieving pain, strengthening the exterior and stopping sweating. Peach kernel and Pollen Typhae: relieving pain, activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, moistening the intestines and relieving constipation. The whole formula is nourishing but not greasy, nourishing but not stagnant, and cutting but not hurting. Usage and Dosage
