Bismuth Subcarbonate Tablets

This product is an antacid. After oral administration, it can quickly neutralize gastric acid. The generated bismuth salt can form a protective film on the surface of the ulcer at the inflammation site, resisting the invasion of gastric acid and having a convergence effect. In addition, it can also kill Helicobacter pylori and promote the healing of inflammation.

This product contains bismuth subcarbonate (Bi).

This product is light reddish brown flakes with a fragrant smell.

Used to relieve stomach pain, heartburn, acid reflux and chronic gastritis caused by excessive gastric acid.

Oral administration: adults take 0.3-0.6 g at a time, 3 times a day, before meals.

Long-term use of large doses may cause constipation.

1. The carbon dioxide produced when neutralizing gastric acid may cause belching, secondary increase in gastric acid secretion, and ulcer perforation in patients with severe gastric ulcers; 2. Long-term or excessive use may cause constipation and bismuth encephalopathy.
