This product is a cholinesterase inhibitor, similar to neostigmine, but with a stronger and longer-lasting effect. The minimum lethal dose for humans is 60 mg.

Ambenonium chloride

This product is white tablets.

For patients with myasthenia gravis who cannot tolerate neostigmine, pyridostigmine or are allergic to bromine, the dose should be adjusted according to the patient's efficacy.

Oral: 3 times a day, 5-25 mg each time.

This product has significant side effects. Even therapeutic doses can cause headaches, and overdose may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, salivation, bradycardia, sweating and other symptoms.

It is contraindicated for patients with bronchial asthma and intestinal or urinary tract obstruction, and cannot be used in combination with belladonna (atropine). It is also contraindicated for patients receiving the ganglion blocking drug mecamylamine.
