Pseudoephedrine Capsules

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is an adrenaline mimetic that can constrict nasal mucosal blood vessels and reduce mucosal congestion and swelling; chlorpheniramine (chlorpheniramine) is an antihistamine that can competitively block histamine (HI) receptors and reduce nasal mucosal congestion and swelling. The two drugs have a synergistic effect.

This product is a compound preparation, the main ingredients of which are pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate.

Used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, etc. caused by colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.

Oral administration: Adults, 1 tablet three times a day.

The main symptoms are mild drowsiness, dry nose, palpitations, upper abdominal discomfort, etc.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to ephedrine or chlorpheniramine, or those with severe hypertension, severe heart disease, or obvious prostatic hypertrophy.

1. Ethanol and central nervous system depressants can enhance the efficacy of antihistamines; 2. This product can enhance the effects of amantadine, anticholinergics, haloperidol, phenothiazines and sympathomimetics; 3. Quinidine and chlorpheniramine are used together to intensify their atropine-like effects; 4. This product can be taken together with tricyclic antidepressants to enhance the efficacy of the latter.
