This product is an antibiotic. This product is a broad-spectrum antibacterial drug in the semi-synthetic rifamycin class. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the activity of ribonucleic acid polymerase in bacteria, thereby affecting the synthesis of ribonucleic acid and protein metabolism, resulting in the cessation of bacterial growth and reproduction to achieve a bactericidal effect. The sensitive bacteria of this product include: Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant and neomycin-resistant strains), Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pneumococcus, Gonorrhea, Escherichia coli, Meningococcus, Haemophilus influenzae, Legionella, etc.

Indication
This product can be used to treat the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria: respiratory tract infections, surgical infections, urinary tract infections, ear, nose and throat infections, peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis and other intra-abdominal infections; sepsis, skin and soft tissue infections; pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, gonorrhea and genital infections, etc., and various tuberculosis diseases caused by mycobacteria
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip. Adults: 500 mg once for general infection, mixed in 250 ml of 5% glucose injection, twice a day; moderate to severe infection: 1000 mg once, mixed in 500 ml of 5% glucose injection, twice a day, the drip rate should not be too fast. Children: The dosage is 10-30 mg/kg body weight per day, twice a day or as prescribed by the doctor. Intravenous push. Adults: 500 mg once, 2-3 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
1. Temporary yellowing of the sclera or skin may occur when the infusion is too fast. 2. A small number of patients may experience transient liver damage, jaundice and kidney damage. 3. Other adverse reactions include nausea, loss of appetite and dizziness, and occasionally tinnitus, hearing loss, allergic dermatitis, etc.
