Function and Efficacy
This product is a cerebral vasodilator that can inhibit phosphodiesterase activity, increase the effect of c-GMP, a messenger for vascular smooth muscle relaxation, and selectively increase cerebral blood flow. It can also inhibit platelet aggregation, reduce human blood viscosity, enhance red blood cell deformability, improve blood fluidity and microcirculation, promote brain tissue to absorb glucose, increase brain oxygen consumption, and improve brain metabolism.
Ingredients
The main component of this product is vinpocetine. Its chemical name is ethyl (13as, 13bs)-13a-ethyl-2,3,5,6-13a,13bhexahydro-1H-indole[3,2,1-de]pyridine[3,2,1-ij][1,5]naphthylidene-12-carboxylic acid. Its molecular formula is C22H26N2O2. Molecular weight is 350.46.

Appearance
This product is a light pink film-coated tablet, which appears white after removing the film coating.
Indication
It is suitable for sequelae of cerebral infarction, sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral arteriosclerosis, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults take 5 mg (1 tablet) at a time, 3 times a day, or as directed by a physician.
Adverse Reactions
1 Sometimes rash, urticaria, itching and allergic symptoms may occur, and the drug should be discontinued at this time. 2 Sometimes abdominal pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite and other symptoms may occur. 3 Dizziness, facial flushing, slight decrease in blood pressure, tachycardia, etc. may occur occasionally. 4 Sometimes leukopenia, increased S-GOT, S-GPT, r-GTP, AL-P, blood urea nitrogen, etc. may occur.
Precautions
It is contraindicated during the acute phase of intracranial hemorrhage.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: 1. Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant are prohibited. 2. Lactating women should use with caution and stop breastfeeding if they must use it. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
Drug Interactions
This product should not be used together with heparin.
