Cerebroside Injection
Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological action: Cerebroside carnosine has the effects of nerve repair and regeneration, nerve protection, nutrition and energy supply, and can promote the functional recovery of damaged central and peripheral nerve tissues. Studies have shown that cerebroside carnosine has the effect of nerve repair and regeneration. It contains a variety of gangliosides that can participate in the synthesis of neuronal cell membranes, promote neural stem cell differentiation, axon growth and synapse formation. It can also regulate the activity of enzymes such as adenylate cyclase (AC), ATPase, and protein kinase, maintain effective nerve metabolism, and promote nerve tissue repair. Cerebroside carnosine has a neuroprotective effect, which can protect the integrity of the nerve cell membrane structure, maintain the activity of membrane Na-K-ATPase and Ca2-mg 2-ATPase, antagonize the excessive release of excitatory amino acids, inhibit pathological lipid peroxidation, reduce the production of free radicals, and thus reduce brain edema and nerve cell damage. Cerebroside carnosine has a nutritional and energy supply effect. The peptides, free amino acids and other components it contains can pass through the blood-brain barrier, activate and promote nerve cell protein synthesis, provide and supplement the specific nutrients required for nerve metabolism, promote brain nerve metabolism, and provide energy supplement and nutritional support for life activities and tissue repair. Toxicological study: Acute toxicity experiments showed that the maximum tolerable dose of this product in mouse muscle was 1.95 g·kg-1 (in terms of polypeptide), which is equivalent to 1000-2000 times the clinical therapeutic dose; different doses of this product were injected into the tail vein of mice, and the D50 of mice calculated by Koch method was 2.06 g·kg-1, which is equivalent to 211.28-422.56 times the clinical therapeutic dose. Safety experiments showed that this product had no obvious irritation to the administration site after single intravenous and intramuscular injection, as well as continuous multiple intravenous and intramuscular injections; allergy tests showed that this product did not induce passive allergic reactions in the skin at all concentrations, and did not cause allergic reactions after systemic administration; in vitro hemolysis tests showed that this product had no hemolytic or agglutinating effect on rabbit red blood cells within 3 hours.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, a sterile aqueous solution made by mixing healthy rabbit muscle extract and bovine brain ganglioside extract. Its main components are polypeptides, various gangliosides, free amino acids, nucleic acids, etc. Each 1ml contains 3.2mg polypeptide, 50μg ganglioside (calculated as sialic acid), 1.65mg free amino acids, 0.925mg total nitrogen, and 0.3mg nucleic acid. Excipients: water for injection.

Appearance
This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid.
Indication
This product can promote the metabolism of heart and brain tissues, participate in the growth, differentiation and regeneration of brain tissue neurons, improve brain blood and brain metabolic functions, and is used to treat functional disorders caused by myocardial and brain diseases.
Usage and Dosage
Adult patients: intramuscular injection, 2-4 ml at a time, twice a day, or as directed by a doctor. Intravenous drip, 5-20 ml at a time, add to 250 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection, drip slowly, once a day, two weeks as a course of treatment. Or as directed by a doctor. Pediatric patients: intramuscular injection, children 0.04-0.08 ml/kg at a time according to body weight, twice a day, or as directed by a doctor. Intravenous drip, children 0.1-0.4 ml/kg at a time according to body weight, add to 250 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection, drip slowly, once a day, two weeks as a course of treatment. Or as directed by a doctor.
Adverse Reactions
Some patients may experience chills, slightly elevated body temperature, dizziness, and irritability 3 to 4 hours after intravenous injection; some cases may develop allergic rash, which may disappear on their own by slowing down the drip rate or stopping the drug.
Precautions
Use with caution in pregnant women.

Drug Interactions
It should not be used together with balanced amino acid injection.
