Etimicin Sulfate Injection
Function and Efficacy
This product is a semi-synthetic water-soluble antibiotic belonging to the aminoglycoside class. In vitro antibacterial studies have shown that this product has a broad antibacterial spectrum and has good antibacterial effects on a variety of pathogens, including Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter, Serratia, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella, Haemophilus influenzae and Staphylococcus, and has certain antibacterial activity against some Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter, and has in vitro MIC values for some gentamicin, gentamicin and cefazolin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, which are still within the blood drug concentration range of the therapeutic dose of this product. It also has certain antibacterial activity against some Staphylococci that produce penicillinase and some low-level methicillin-resistant Staphylococci (MRSA). The mechanism of action of this product is to inhibit the normal protein synthesis of sensitive bacteria. The results of animal ototoxicity tests show that the ototoxicity of this product injected intramuscularly is lower than that of other aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is similar to netilmicin. .
Ingredients

Indication
It is suitable for various infections caused by sensitive Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Serratia, Citrobacter, Enterobacter, Acinetobacter, Proteus, Haemophilus influenzae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus. Clinical studies have shown that this product has a good effect on the following infections. Respiratory tract infections: such as acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community lung infection, etc. Kidney and genitourinary system infections: such as acute pyelonephritis, cystitis, acute exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis or chronic cystitis, etc. Skin, soft tissue and other infections: such as skin and soft tissue infections, trauma, trauma and postoperative infections and other sensitive bacteria infections.
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip. Recommended adult dose: For patients with normal renal function and urinary tract infection or systemic infection, 0.1-0.15 g twice a day (once every 12 hours), diluted in 100 ml of sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection, intravenous drip for 1 hour. The course of treatment is 5-10 days.
Adverse Reactions
This product is a semi-synthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic. Its adverse reactions are ear and kidney adverse reactions, and the incidence and severity are similar to those of netilmicin. In some cases, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), S-Cr or alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and other liver and kidney function indicators can be slightly increased, but they return to normal after stopping the drug. The ototoxicity and vestibular toxicity of this product mainly occur in patients with renal insufficiency, patients with excessive or overdose, and manifest as dizziness, tinnitus, etc. Some patients have decreased electrical hearing test, but the degree is relatively mild. Other rare reactions include nausea, rash, phlebitis, palpitations, chest tightness and skin itching.
Precautions
Patients who are allergic to this product or other aminoglycoside antibiotics are contraindicated.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: This product is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, so children should use it with caution. Or follow the doctor's advice. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women must fully weigh the pros and cons before using this product. Lactating women should stop breastfeeding during medication. Precautions for the elderly: Due to the decline of physiological renal function, the dosage and medication interval of this product need to be adjusted. Or follow the doctor's advice.
Drug Interactions
This product should not be used in combination with other potentially ototoxic and nephrotoxic drugs such as polymyxin, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, strong uric acid and furosemide (furosemide), so as not to increase nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
