Trapidil Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product can inhibit the activity of cAMP phosphodiesterase, and has a stronger effect on dilating coronary arteries than nitroglycerin, which is beneficial to the establishment of collateral circulation; it can inhibit the synthesis of thromboxane A (TXA2), promote the production of prostacyclin (PGI2), dilate peripheral arteries and veins to inhibit platelet aggregation, prevent platelet aggregation induced by arachidonic acid and platelets themselves, and disaggregate the already formed aggregations; this product can also competitively antagonize platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) receptors and inhibit the growth of smooth muscle cells.
