Polycresol sulfonate gel

Polycresol sulfonate has a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, including Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, molds and viruses. Please refer to the inner package insert for details.

This product is a white to reddish brown gel.

1. Gynecology: used for cervical erosion, cervicitis, various vaginal infections (such as increased leucorrhea caused by bacteria, trichomonas and fungi), vulvar itching, pressure ulcers caused by the use of pessaries, hemostasis after cervical polypectomy or biopsy, genital warts and accelerated wound healing after electrocoagulation treatment; it can also be used for the prevention of mastitis (burning of nipple fissures); 2. Surgery and Dermatology: used for local treatment of skin wounds and lesions (such as burns, limb ulcers, bedsores, chronic inflammation, etc.), can accelerate the shedding of necrotic tissue, stop bleeding and promote the healing process, and is used for the treatment of genital warts; 3. Stomatology: used for inflammation of the oral mucosa and gums, oral ulcers and hemostasis after tonsillectomy.

Start treatment on the third day after the menstruation is over. After cleaning the vulva before going to bed, push 5g of gel into the deep vagina with a vaginal applicator. Do this once every other day, and 6 times constitute a course of treatment.

In the early stages of using polyphenol sulfonaldehyde, local irritation symptoms may sometimes occur, but they will disappear quickly on their own.

Precautions for children: Not applicable. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: During pregnancy and lactation, polycresol sulfonate should be used only when absolutely necessary, and the potential harm of the drug to mother and baby should be fully considered. Although animal tests have shown that this drug has no teratogenic effect, human test results have not yet been obtained. It is not clear whether the active ingredients of this drug are contained in the breast milk of lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: There are no restrictions or special requirements for the use of this product in elderly patients.

To avoid drug interactions, other drugs should not be used in the same area.
