Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological tests show that this product can prolong the cough latency of mice induced by ammonia or sulfur dioxide and reduce the number of coughs. It can promote the excretion of phenol red in the mouse trachea. It can prolong the asthma latency of guinea pigs induced by histamine and acetylcholine mixture. It can inhibit the ear swelling of mice caused by xylene and the plantar swelling of rats caused by carrageenan. It has a certain protective effect on the death of mice infected with Staphylococcus aureus.
Ingredients
Gypsum, golden buckwheat, houttuynia cordata, ephedra (roasted with honey), fried bitter almonds, Fritillaria cirrhosa, dwarf tea, loquat leaves, perilla seeds (roasted), and roasted licorice.
